One of my first freelance clients came from a video pitch on Elance (now Upwork) back in 2013.

Fun fact: video pitches (now with Loom) are still gold.

The client was a well-known marketer who needed a full email autoresponder sequence for his consulting business.

This project opened my eyes to the world of direct response marketing, freelancing, and newsletters.

This is where I discovered my ❤️ for copywriting.

Fast forward to today, and I've joined the @beehiiv team to help grow their email newsletter platform into a billion-dollar 🦄 .

Email newsletters offer immense leverage for a productized creator.

They have always been valuable, even if they are gaining more attention now.

However, they remain one of the most underutilized channels.

Many fail to capture emails, and even fewer send them consistently.

During my recent workshop on the Productized Creator Model, I went deep on the “Nurture” pillar, one of the three core pillars needed to scale your productized creator business to six figures per month.

Setting up your nurture infrastructure correctly from the start means your newsletter sequences can become your “sales army”, working for you 24/7.

This is leverage.

This is how you build trust over time and eliminate the need for sales calls. You can close deals with an email and a Google Doc sales page.
